There is a verydiverse types of items one can buy USED whether at a local thrift shop or via Freecycle, Craigslist or Ebay

  1. Most likely to find at thrift shop
    1. Bedding :sheets, pillow cases, comforters, blankets, bathrobes
    2. Clothing:
      1. ties, scarves, belts, socks
      2. Cooler weather: scarves, hats, gloves, boots
      3. Rain or wind: raincoat, windbreaker, boots, umbrellas
      4. baby & children’s clothing are great deals since they grow out of the size of item without wearing too long.

    2. Know your empty space measurements so you your newly purchased furniture and appliances or furniture wil fit. Would desk fit” Ask sales person if they could measure item?
    3. Appliances & electronics: Do u have a 2-3 prong adapter at home or u could look for adapter at thrift shopto save money buying used.
    4. Find what battery types do u already have at homebecause you will know whether you have the right batteries for USED electronics you want to purchase.
      1. alkaline AAA,AA, 6 volt, Size D, size c, 6 volt or smaller 9 volt
      2. Measure height & width of your cups to fit under a single coffee cup makerso cups will fit.
      1. What width reusable coffee filter did your old coffee maker take?
      2. Diameter of largest plate at home that fits into your microwave.
      3. Appliance refill brands & part #
        1. For Instance, mop refill brand names & part #s need for your mops
        2. For example, vacuum cleaner bag refill type & model#
          1. Such as anair filter model & measurements
    5. BEFORE hand, at home, check online for reviews & ratings of appliance u want to buy such as popcon poppers, microwaves, LED Monitors, etc. so you can get the best affordable quality.
    6. Why Carefully check item for loose parts chips, cracks or other damage in oder to avoid diasappoinments.
    7. IMPORTANT: For computer peripherals like scanners, web cams or printers, look at package or back of item to see if the make & model # of item is Windows 10 compatible.
